SEUCK Title Screen Maker V1.7 Released

Greetings wannabe SEUCK Enhancers.

I am very pleased to announce the SEUCK Title Screen Maker V1.7 has been released. It contains a lot of major bug fixes, including a save bug where data was garbled up if loading and saving from a standard disk loader. Also there were cases where the editor got garbled up in places. This make V1.6 a very unstable release.

It has been suggested that there should be a couple of new features, which are now implemented into the utility.

The first is support for multi-track tunes. Composers, like Demo Music Creator, Cheese Cutter, SidWizard, Goat Tracker, EMS V7.03, and possibly a lot more allow you to compose music using more than one track. As a bonus you can load relocated tunes which use up to five sub tunes, and can assign these to play subtunes as events: title music, in game music, get ready, game over and hi score music. You are not restricted to which order your tunes can be set up to play.

The second update is a brand new feature suggested. This time it is an end screen maker. That's right. The SEUCK Title Screen Maker now consists of an end screen maker, which allows you to create your very own end screen of up to 11 lines. This was limited due to the problem with memory inside the title screen. Especially if the developer may want to include in game enhancements in memory spared.

You can use F1/F3 to switch between CBM charset and custom charset when writing a scroll text. This is handy if you are using a double-height font to develop your own title screen credits page. Also you can used F5/F7 to enabled/disable grid mode in the title screen credits and end screen page editors.

As usual we have three subroutine call outs spare for placing subroutines for in game enhancements.

Finally, we have a real treat in store for you. Alf Yngve, and I have both teamed up to bring you an exclusive Sideways Scrolling SEUCK game called "Ceti 22". There's also a title screen which you can load from side 1 of the disk to view and edit.

It is hoped that some time this month (May 2024) that a 3-part video tutorial on the SEUCK Title Screen Maker V1.7 should pop up on this page some time. So if new to SEUCK Title Screen Maker V1.7 it might be helpful.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this tool.
