The New Dimension and Blazon proudly presents the crazy Commodore 64 game, Weights and Crates Deluxe. This is the complete full version of the 2024 Reset64 4kb 'Craptastic' Game Compo compo entry, Weights and Crates. Unlike the 4K version, this is the completely brand new enhanced version of the game. This version of the game consists of the following features:

THE STORY

You are employed by BLZ Explosives LTD. You are working a night shift in the inbound department of the warehouse, which is partially outside the shipping yard. You have agreed to work this shift and the department, unaware that this department lacks in health and safety requirements. To put it another way, they don't care about these regulations and run rules the way they wish to. That is just typical isn't it?

PLAYING THE GAME

Your task is to run on the goods in conveyor-belt and let a set target number of crates leave the screen. For every crate that leaves the screen, the target number of crates decreases on the counter in the status panel. A level is completed after the target counter has reached 000.

You will need to jump over those crates as they move across the screen. You should also avoid reaching the rollers. If you reach the weak position of the rollers, a fault will occur and the rollers will collapse, sending you into deep water.

THE CRATES

Yellow crates:

These crates consist of full yellow wooden boxes. For every yellow crate which passes, you will score 100 points. If you bump into a yellow crate, the crate will knock you out stunned for a short period of time.

Red crates:

The red crates contain a bomb inside the box. You will score 200 points for every red crate that passes. Avoid contact with the red boxes because you will lose a life if you touch this crate. Try to jump over these.

Falling weights:

These will appear after level 4 is completed. Falling weights will kill you if you jump at them or they land on you.

You will start each level with temporary protection against the crates and weights that enter the screen. This will not last a long while. Also temporary protection will be given to you if you are knocked out by yellow crates.

There are 16 levels in total. Can you survive the whole night shift?

CONTROLS:

Use joystick in port 2. Left/right to run, fire to jump.

CONTROL/TAB – Pause game

BACK ARROW / ` – Abort game and return to title screen.
